Wow #2, I’d never heard that service members were attracted to men in uniform. This explains the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy. They’d never get anything done.
Actually, the “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policy was repealed in 2011. Anybody who was gay came out, even though everyone already knew they were gay.
Back to the point: every base is surrounded by hoards of “tag-chasers.” These girls are like nasty groupies; 29 palms “desert yettis” are the prime example of this crop. It still sends shivers down my spine when i think of that terrifying day of ’09. I looked out my barracks door and saw one of my friends towing a desert yetti down the hallway. I quickly shut my door and hid in my closet. Who knows what she did to get that poor soul in her grasp. I didnt look into her eyes for fear of becoming ensnared, too. Then he knocked on the door. It was then that i realized I had to do something for him. So I walked to my window and climbed down from my 2nd story room for a hasty escape to the liquor store.
So, the allure to the uniform… What exactly is it, ladies? The comformity? The color coordination? The name-tag? Fewer loads of wash?

So why has poor Tavon not had his named blocked to a single letter like all the girls?
