  1. Hahahah!

Yep, that’s how I found out my friend was gay. That and the glitter all over his body.

  2. Ahahahahaha!!!

    Michael is brilliant

  3. *yaaaawn*

  4. Glitter is the herpes of arts and crafts.

  5. Michael’s response was stolen from http://www.yahooanswerfail.com/is-son-gay-fail/

  6. glitter, that’s funny

  7. would of been funny if it wasnt so fucking old

  8. As in Gary Glitter all over his body?

  9. The glitter joke is a rip off an unfunny American comedian. I’ve heard it used by a lot of people, trying to claim it as their own.

  10. ‘batting for the other side’ i didnt realize people still said that? what a knob

  11. Who the hell still cares about Lance Bass?

  12. @ Andrizzle: I don’t know who still cares about him but you are the one remembering his full name ;0)

  13. @Andrizzle – You can ask “who the hell still cares about Justin Timberlake (or however).” But apparently he’s still about.

  14. Oh yeah, I still hear it here in England from time to time. I’m not sure why you think he’s a knob for saying it though, he’s hardly being homophobic or hateful with it.

He is, however, a knob for inciting the creation of such a dull and boring Lamebook post.

P.s Lance is not “cute” or “cool”.

  15. Sorry, my post was directed @donsimon (noob mistake).

  16. lol

  17. Sucks for the kid. obviously the mother is embarrassed if she doesn’t want him to say cute.

  18. @myjobisthesuck – Yep, it sounds like it could be the start of a potentially awkward mother-son relationship.

  19. @Myjobisthesuck

Depending on her sons age, she might just not want him to get picked on in school. Kids say some jacked up things, and honestly as a parent it is your job to teach them what is socially acceptable. If he’s not gay, she doesn’t want him to grow up with the stigma in school that he is. If he does end up being gay, it is something that he will choose to tell people at his own time and place. My son is kinda strange, and I try to curb that a little so that he doesn’t get picked on in school.

  20. wow everyone is so pissed off that some people “repeat” jokes. I never heard that one before and it’s funny to me.

@ British Hobette – I think there’s quite a big difference between Lance Bass and Justin Timberlake. I can’t quite put my finger on it……ah yes…..a record contract

@ MyJobIsTheSuck – that may be true. It may also mean that she is just trying to protect him. For an adult it’s fine but I wouldn’t want my kid saying that in school or around other kids. He’d get the shit kicked unfortunately

  21. @Lamebookpro

If his mom watches Dancing With The Stars it is understandable, he was a contestant about a year and a half ago and was really good.

  22. LOL love the Seinfeld reference!

  23. I won’t lie , I laughed so hard at the title . You go lamebook admin 😀

  24. @ Lissieissocool – ….huh? sorry I just smoked. and it was good.

  25. Lissieissocool, remember in the 1960s how black parents covered their children in white paint before school? Being black wasn’t very socially acceptable at the time, but the white out always protected them. Just curbed the strangeness a little, you know?

I don’t know if I like the idea of parents teaching their children to hold up a facade in order to be treated respectfully. I think I have more appreciation for the “let’s go work out so you can kick some bully ass” method.

  26. My mom used to cover me in white linnen and let me burn crosses in our neigbours frontyard, it was a confusing time for me.

  27. The comments, once again, have proven to be more entertaining than the original post.

  28. Yup, now I’m pissed. I have that stupid song stuck in my head.

  29. I would be much more worried about my son thinking Lance Bass is cool than cute.

  30. Yes rosinbackrider, and that’s one of my all time favourite Seinfeld episodes. A total classic, some great lines in that one including,

“I’ve been outed, and I wasn’t even in!”

    Larry David = genius

  31. Whoa word… calm down. Try to curb your enthusiasm a little bit.

See what I did there? *nudge nudge*

  32. wink wink, say no more mc.
    But I will.

I would do Larry six ways from Sunday, anywhere, anytime.

  33. @WOG – I love you.

@Lissieissocool – I know you have your son’s best interest at heart, but really, don’t try to ‘curb’ his ‘strangeness’. If he really wants to do fit the average mold more, believe me when I say he knows how. Trying to change him will only lead to him feeling like you don’t accept him as he is. Some people are just wired to be weird. From the time I was eight years old I was begging for my parents to let me dye my hair purple. They told me I could do it on my twelfth birthday, thinking I would outgrow my “weirdness”. I have not seen my natural hair colour since my twelfth birthday. I’ve dyed it eight different colours.

  34. Never heard that one before, wasn’t funny anyway. Higher calibre please Lamebook.

  35. @ glueyourfingers – that was really special, but sadly purple hair is weird, being gay isn’t

  36. MaddyManchester

@lamebookpro – Purple hair isn’t THAT weird? I have it? But it doesn’t make me think I can give advice to randomers on Lamebook? But, then again, that might just be me.

  37. @MaddyManchester – Too many question marks.
