Going Down?

previous post: This Meat Tastes Punny

  1. I graduated from the University of Nottingham in 1982. Glad to see nothing has changed.

  2. Why would an English University call it an Elevator? It is a lift in the UK. If I was having sex in the ‘elevator’ and noticed that sign I would be more perturbed about the use of ‘elevator’.

  3. Anyone notice the fine print “Also please masturbate in your own rooms?”

  4. @Mr. Impeccable,

maybe there’s a Nottingham in the US as well? 😛 But honestly, ‘elevator’ pisses me off.

  5. Unfortunately for your theory to be correct @poustis the university there would have to have exactly the same logo as the one in the UK. possible i suppose…

Could have been an American that wrote the sign though…

  6. Pop pop!

  8. Handed in my application to go to University of Nottingham today. I do not regret my decision based upon this post.

  9. 10 pm to 4 am? That beats Al Bundy’s record. (That was a RARE episode).

“Intense magnitudes”? What does that even mean?

  12. hey wow. This spam is just…wow.
18 comments and 9 are bullshit viruses?
Still, I managed to forward them on to a Nigerian lawyer who contacted me recently. I hope he funds them useful.

  13. Hello all. I am a graduate of this university and I work there every day. This is highly amusing, but it’s also as fake as Jordan’s tits. There is no University of Nottingham in America that would use the word “elevator” or the spelling “sterilized” – there is one in Malaysia but this is still run on UK English, being a UK-based institution. Nor would any official sign capitalise words mid-sentence for no reason.

A student may have set it up as a joke (and what a hilarious whiz, and safer than climbing the Portland Tower or attempting to swim the Trent at the bottom of the campus while drunk), or it might be shooped in its entirety, but it is most certainly not a genuine official sign from the University of Nottingham.

    Pip pip.

  14. Not sure if Robin Hood is trolling or not…

  15. ooh how exciting! i live in nottingham, ive never seen nottingham on any of these websites so its good to have it acknowledged!

  16. Not trolling. I really am a recent graduate, I really do live in Nottingham, I really do work there. It’s very funny, but it’s not genuine.
