I Want My MurrayTV

previous post: The Helicopter Ride

  1. What is it with the internet’s obsession with Bill Murray?

  2. ^ While searching for the answer to your question, one must ask whether you are obsessed with creme-filled mini chocolate cakes, or dildos.

Groundhog Day is one of my favorite movies.

  3. What i want to know is….why people forget about his movies before bloody ghostbusters…p.s i am an Ernie McCracken fan personally

  4. This does not help my Caine/Hackman thesis.

  5. Dongs, I think it’s because not only is Bill Murray a pretty funny guy and all-round great actor (think Saturday Night Live in addition to his films), but because he’s ridiculously personable in real life. He surprises people in the street by coming up behind them and saying “Guess who?”, and he invites himself to parties and does the dishes for the hosts while he’s there. He films himself doing slow-motion walks for people, instead of the impersonal signing of autographs.

    He’s the people’s celebrity, man 🙂

I mean, I know you could have Googled all of this, but I think the awesomeness of Bill Murray needed to be reiterated.

  6. ^I had no idea how awesome Bill Murray is. Thanks for enlightening me, bacchante. ~Internet bottle of sav blanc heading your way~

  7. Bill Murray is funny and has a couple decent movies but seriously internet, get off his dick already. Lost in Translation and Broken Flowers was fuckin garbage.

  8. Baby steps, Crusty. Baby steps.

  9. Cheers franky! Sav blanc puts me on my arse, so I’ll toast you from the floor xox

  10. Alright, thanks for that Bacchante 😛 Might have to check him out a little more then. I’m just instantly iffy about anything the Internet gets all hivemindy about.
