I can see the connection, but I can also see the disconnect since Christmas wasn’t really made a holiday until around 325 AD.
also it wasn’t even jesus’ real birthday. christians just decided they’d celebrate jesus on that day to hide the actual pagan holiday that actually occurred on that day.
Christians are lame.
So, if some dude named Mathew DID say this at 1:23pm (why not am?), would it be more believably from the Bible?
