@jeffreyd, hard to believe but this is the official FB page of a police force in Australia. If they’re quoting someone, they don’t censor the word “shit” but they’ll censor anything stronger than that. Most of the Aussie Police pages are pretty funny actually, they have a good sense of humour 🙂
1. The ‘star’ profile picture is an American sheriff’s badge. Australian police use a shield shape with national icons.
2. ‘Lewd and lascivious behavior’ is not a recognized offense in Australia.
3. Australia uses the metric system. No one says ‘miles’ here.
