Did anyone else get a chuckle out of the fact that ‘WOW’ is an acronym for ‘World of Warcraft’, and that mom put it immediately after making a quip about playing computer games in a conversation about three letter acronyms? That seemed like the whole joke to me when I first read it, and I thought it was a rather clever find.
@16 I caught the WoW reference too, but had to wonder if it was a mistake considering she didn’t spell it WoW. Still pretty funny though, I think she was on the right track and that’s what really makes this post priceless.

Does anyone have a cite for when LOL was used as “lots of love”? I just did a quick search and the overwhelming result is that the correct usage for LOL should be as “laughing out loud”…
