I have started to hit on taxi drivers as a ploy to get out of paying the fare. When I’m within walking distance of my destination I’ll hit them with the old “I’ll be your first virgin, I swear to Allah.” Usually they just brush it off, but sometimes they get so angry they kick me out and I don’t have to pay. But my bluff has been called a couple times as well, which is always a pain in the ass.
@21- So in school, I’m curious, how did you pronounce the name “Thomas Jefferson?” Thomas is the appropriate spelling, and Thom is just a shortened version of that. I don’t see the problem…
